Karunia Fila – Blog 1: Heading to rural Thailand

Hello everyone! Here is a recorded interview with myself and my co teacher Josh. We begin our position at KSDC on June 3rd and are so excited to begin our journey!

Hello! My name is Karunia, I recently finished my first year at UVIC and I am majoring in Pacific and Asian Studies. Starting in June I will be living and working at KSDC (Karenni Social Development Center) in rural Thailand teaching English. I am excited to teach and learn from the Karenni peoples and so grateful for this opportunity and experience.
