just me (on the right) and my pal Luisa (on the left) doing some pre-departure yoga!
Hello, and welcome to my first post. Yay!
It’s less than two weeks until I embark on my journey to Bangkok, and I am feeling a lot of feels. So far I have only cried once and I consider that an accomplishment. I sat down with Luisa, my friend and fellow intern who will be joining me in Thailand (albeit on the opposite end of the country), to discuss what brought me here and how I’m feeling about my upcoming trip. Thank you for listening!
Hello! Nice to meet you! My name is Kaylin and I am pursuing a double major in gender studies and political science. I will be interning with the Global Alliance Against Traffic in Women (GAATW) in Bangkok, an organization dedicated to the rights of migrant labourers all around the world. Wee! This blog is a snapshot of my journey, as well as a collection of highlights and reflections on my experiences. Thank you for reading!
