Day 2016-02-15

In this blog I share the story of a Nepali migrant worker and his relationship with the Pourakhi Safe House counsellor. Her story is a reminder for me of the experiences, joys and challenges shared by front-line support workers in grassroots organizations. I think of many of the people I have worked with in Vancouver as I share some thoughts of the hierarchies of non-profits and the positioning of front-line workers within these structures.
