Day 2016-01-15

In this blog, I share some of my initial experiences of being an intern at Pourakhi including the weeks with sparse periods of excitement. Shifting my focus then to the women’s safe house, I make some observations of the culture and day to day activities, including thoughts regarding the contrast and similarities between mental health services in Nepal and Canada. I couldn’t help sharing a few photos of Kathmandu’s beautiful old neighbourhoods and streets.
