The Centre for Asia-Pacific Initiatives (CAPI) was established in 1987 as an important element of the University of Victoria’s plan to expand and strengthen its links with universities and other institutions in the Asia-Pacific region, especially with China, Japan, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Korea, and the island states of Oceania.

Since 2003, CAPI has supported over 125 interns as they work and grow with our amazing partner organizations across the Asia-Pacific.

Here are some of the highlights of their stories and experiences from ‘the field’.
